What an AI Visibility Audit report looks like

This is the report a client receives at the end of the five-day audit, shown in full for a fictional Austin wellness business, Riverline Mobile IV. Read it to see exactly what gets measured, how it is scored, and what the 90-day roadmap looks like.

Sample report. Fictional business and illustrative numbers. Format matches the report clients receive. Riverline Mobile IV, Hill Country Hydration, and ATX Drip Co. do not exist; any resemblance to a real company is coincidental.

Summary. Riverline is named in 14 percent of answers and recommended by 2 of 5 engines (Gemini and Claude). Hill Country Hydration is named first in 16 of 18 prompts and is the default answer in this market. Riverline is absent from every price-related prompt and from every prompt that mentions licensing or safety, which are the two themes buyers in this category ask about most. The gap is fixable: the causes are missing structured service data, an inconsistent service area, and provider credentials that exist but are not published anywhere an engine can read.
Methodology

How the score is built

  • 18 buyer prompts, written the way real customers ask: urgent, local, price-aware, and safety-aware. Prompts were drafted from the client's intake call and review history, then fixed before testing so they can be re-run identically every month.
  • Five engines: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews. Each prompt is run once per engine in a clean session with location set to Austin, Texas.
  • Scoring. Each answer is read and every business named is recorded with its position. A business earns one point per answer it is named in. Share of answer is the business's points divided by the total points awarded across all businesses named.
  • Competitors. Two competitors chosen by the client at intake. All other businesses named are grouped as "Others."
  • Engines recommending. An engine counts as recommending a business if it names it in at least a third of prompts.

Pattern: Riverline appears only where an engine has read its Google Business Profile reviews (Gemini, Claude). It is absent wherever the answer depends on the website, which the engines could not extract a service list, prices, or a service area from.

Does AI know who Riverline is?

CheckStatusFinding
Google Business ProfileNeeds workListed as a storefront at a residential address. Should be a service-area business covering Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, and Pflugerville. Hours show closed after 6 pm although service runs until 11 pm.
Name, address, phone consistencyFailThree phone numbers across GBP, Yelp, and the website. Business name appears as "Riverline IV," "Riverline Mobile IV," and "Riverline Mobile IV Therapy LLC."
ReviewsPass112 Google reviews, 4.9 average, 14 in the last 90 days. Reviews frequently name the nurse and the treatment. This is the strongest asset and is why Gemini and Claude name the business.
Licensing and credentialsFailMedical director and registered nurses are licensed but nowhere on the public site. No license type, no state board, no names on the site. Engines answering "safest" or "licensed" prompts cannot verify anything.
Directory citationsNeeds workPresent on Yelp and Nextdoor. Absent from Apple Maps, Bing Places, and the two health directories the engines cited most often for competitors.
Social profilesPassInstagram and Facebook active and linked from the site with a consistent handle.
Site AI-readiness

Can AI read the website?

CheckStatusFinding
Crawler accessNeeds workrobots.txt allows Googlebot but blocks GPTBot, ClaudeBot, and PerplexityBot by a default rule left in by the site builder.
Structured dataFailNo schema of any kind. Schema is the machine-readable tag that tells AI what kind of business this is, where it serves, when it is open, and what each treatment is. None of it is present.
Service pagesFailOne "Menu" page rendered as an image. No text an engine can extract for any individual drip, add-on, or package.
Price clarityFailPrices exist in the image only. Every price-related prompt went to competitors with text prices on the page.
Service area and hoursNeeds workStated once in the footer as "Austin and surrounding areas." No list of cities, no travel fee, no hours.
Booking pathPassOnline booking is a single link and the phone number is clickable. Engines that did name Riverline described the booking path correctly.
Answer-ready contentFailNo FAQ, no plain-language answer to what an IV appointment involves, how long it takes, or who administers it.
Page speed and mobilePassLoads under two seconds on mobile. No issues found.
90-day roadmap

What to fix, in order

Ordered by expected effect on share of answer per hour of work. Each item names the signal it repairs.

Days 1 to 30: make the entity legible

Unblock AI crawlers in robots.txt. Convert GBP to a service-area business with correct hours and the four-city service area. Resolve the business name and phone to one version everywhere. Publish the provider credentials page: medical director and nursing staff with license type and issuing board, with text supplied and approved by the medical director. Install business-level schema with service area and hours.

Days 31 to 60: give the engines something to quote

Replace the menu image with one page per drip and package: what it is, who it is for, what it costs, how long it takes, and who administers it. Treatment descriptions are provided and approved by the licensed provider. Add Service schema to each. Publish the service area and travel fee page. Add the FAQ answering the eight questions buyers asked most in the prompt battery. Claim Apple Maps, Bing Places, and the two health directories.

Days 61 to 90: compound the review asset

Turn on a post-visit review request that asks the customer to mention the treatment and the city. Add a first-person "what to expect" page. Re-run the same 18 prompts and publish the first monthly share-of-answer report against the baseline above. Target: named by 4 of 5 engines and in every price and licensing prompt.

What happens next

After the readout

Every audit closes with a 30-minute readout call to walk through the findings and the roadmap. The report and the prompt battery are yours to keep, whoever does the work. If you start any AMP plan within 30 days, the audit fee credits toward month one and the roadmap above becomes the first 90 days of the engagement, measured against this baseline every month.

Compliance note: AMP Digital does not write medical claims. Treatment and outcome language on a client site is provided and approved by the licensed provider. No patient data is used in an audit.
