Paid ads managementPaid ads you can actually see working
Ads only make sense when you can see what a lead cost and what it turned into. If your current agency sends a screenshot of impressions and calls it a report, this page is for you.
What is AMP Digital's paid ads management? We run Google Search and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) campaigns for local businesses with conversion and call tracking installed before any money is spent, ad accounts and data in your name, spend paid directly to the platforms at zero markup, and a one-page monthly report that shows cost per lead next to your AI share-of-answer numbers. Meta ads management is included in the AI Search + Demand and Full Stack plans; Google Ads management is a published add-on to either plan.
Three ways ads management goes wrong
If you have paid an agency for ads and could not say what a lead cost you, one of these three things was happening.
No conversion tracking on the site. No call tracking on the phone number. Spend reported as clicks, and clicks reported as if they were customers. The money went out every month and nobody could say what came back.
The dashboard the agency never sends. Or the one they do send: a screenshot of impressions and reach with no cost per lead on it anywhere. A screenshot of impressions is not a report. It is proof that the ads ran, not that they worked.
Campaigns restructured before they have enough data to judge. New audiences, new budgets, new creative, every couple of weeks. Every change resets what the platform has learned, so nothing is ever proven and nothing is ever ruled out.
Four rules, applied to every account
Conversion tracking and call tracking are installed and tested before the first dollar goes out. If a form fill or a phone call cannot be traced back to the campaign that produced it, the campaign does not turn on.
Ad accounts, pixel, data, and creative are yours from day one. Spend is paid by you directly to Google and Meta, with zero markup and no money passing through us. If you leave, everything stays with you.
Cost per lead, tracked calls and form fills, and spend by campaign, next to your AI share-of-answer numbers. Ads and AI recommendations are read together, because they feed the same phone.
Every change has a written hypothesis and an agreed test window before it is judged. No restructuring on a hunch. The report lists what changed that month and why, so you can see the discipline and not just the activity.
We recommend a monthly spend before anything launches, in writing, and we say what we expect it to buy. You set the number. It does not creep.
A new account has no history. The first report is a baseline, not a verdict. We say which numbers are settled and which still need more data, instead of dressing a small sample up as a trend.
Meta and Google, used for different jobs
They are not interchangeable, and running one like the other is how budgets get wasted.
Meta: demand and retargeting
Facebook and Instagram reach people who did not know they wanted it yet: the homeowner who has been putting off the roof, the person who keeps thinking about booking a treatment. Meta is also where retargeting lives, so people who visited your site and left see you again. Meta ads management is included in the AI Search + Demand and Full Stack plans.
Google Search: intent capture
Search reaches people looking for your service right now, in your area, with their wallet out. It is the closest thing to answering the phone. Google Ads management is an add-on to either plan: $1,000 per month for up to $5,000 in monthly ad spend, 15 percent of spend above that, and a $500 one-time setup for conversion and call tracking and the account build. Spend is paid by you directly to Google. Full terms on the pricing page.
What happens before the first report
Audit the existing account and tracking
We read what is already there: campaign structure, spend history, what the previous agency counted as a conversion, and whether any of it can be traced to a call or a form. You get a plain summary of what was working, what was not, and what could not be known.
Install and test tracking
Conversion tracking on the site, call tracking on the number, and a test lead pushed through every path to confirm it lands in the account. Nothing spends until this is confirmed.
Rebuild or clean up, in your name
If the old account is salvageable we clean it up. If it is not, we rebuild it. Either way, the account, the pixel, and the billing are in your name, and we are a manager you can remove.
First report at day 30: the baseline
Spend by campaign, tracked calls and form fills, cost per lead, and the list of what changed and why. This report is the baseline every later month is measured against. It sits next to your AI share-of-answer numbers on the same page.
Paid ads questions
Do you mark up ad spend?
No. Ad spend is paid by you directly to Google and Meta from a payment method on your own account. Our management fee is flat and published. We never hold, route, or mark up the money.
Who owns the ad account?
You do, from day one. The Google Ads account, the Meta Business account, the pixel, the conversion data, and the creative are all created in your name. We work inside them as a manager you can remove at any time. If you leave, everything stays with you.
What is in the monthly report?
One page: spend by campaign, tracked calls and form fills, cost per lead, and what changed that month and why. It sits next to your AI share-of-answer numbers so ads and AI recommendations are read together. Impressions and clicks are in the appendix, not the headline.
Why not change campaigns more often?
Because every restructure resets what the platform has learned, and a campaign that is changed before it has enough data is never proven or disproven. Each change we make has a written hypothesis and an agreed test window before it is judged. The report lists what changed and why, so you can see the discipline, not just the activity.
Can I buy ads management without a plan?
No. Ads management runs inside the AI Search + Demand or Full Stack plan, because ads need the website, the tracking, and the AI-answer work underneath them to convert. Meta management is included in both plans. Google Ads management is an add-on to either plan at $1,000 per month for up to $5,000 in monthly spend, 15 percent of spend above that, plus a $500 one-time setup.
